Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has revealed that separating genuine love seekers from those who flock around one because of one’s fame and social status in life is not an easy task for any actress anywhere around the world.
Laide Bakare, who described the task as “delicate,” said that in her case, people get attracted to her based on her status and profession, emphasising that the essence of who she truly is, ought to be the driver of what draws people to her.
The actress revealed this in an interview with Punch.
“As an actress, producer and director, my primary challenge has to do with navigating relationships and finding true love.
“Sometimes, people are attracted to my status and my profession, rather than the essence of who I am. Distinguishing genuine connections from those based on fame is often a delicate task,” she said.
