Nollywood thespian, Jennifer Eliogu, has shed light on why she took a break from her acting profession.
In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the actress said she left her acting career to focus on her family.
She hinted on choosing to spend more time with her children during their formative years.
She said, “I wouldn’t have left my children for my career. They were young, and I am a mother hen. I know that prayers answer wherever they are, but you know that in those formative years, they were at an impressionable stage.
“I couldn’t be selfish enough to choose my career over my children. I will never at any point. I will not choose my career over my family. It wasn’t so much of choosing, I have made my sacrifice by leaving my career in the first place.
“While I was abroad, I left my career and I was a full-time mother and housewife.”
