A group, Epe Concerned Group (ECG), has called on Chairman of Epe Local Government Council, Ms. Surah Animashaun to seek a second term in office, as her administration had brought about unprecedented progress in the council.
The state’s Chairman of the group, Mr. Olayemi Toheeb Balogun, spoke with newsmen during their monthly meeting, held at T-Junction area of the Local Government Council, in Epe.
Balogun also called on the All Progressives Congress Party (APC) Lagos State and Epe chapters, to re-nominate Animashaun as the Chairmanship candidate for the 2025 local government council polls, so as to continue her good works.
He described the Chairman’s strides as unprecedented, saying she had surpassed expectations in the area of welfare of the people and in the socio-economic development in the local government council.
According to him, the Chairman has performed excellently, and such a performer deserves a second term in office.
“The projects initiated by her are exemplary, laudable, commendable, exceptional and praiseworthy, and every part of Epe is now being carried along at the same time with the same pace.
“Her six cardinal policies on security, health, food sufficiency, massive infrastructure and employment opportunity have stood tall.
“Her goods works in Epe Local Government Area must continue and we are calling on her to listen to our call because it is a call for service,” Balogun said
