Delta State Government has commended the Emuhu – born United States – based medical doctor and practicing pharmacist, Gabriel Mbadiwe Mabatah(GMM) and wife, Mrs Francesca Mabatah, for their recent donation of borehole and toilet facilities to Emuhu Secondary School, Emuhu – Agbor.
The government said it considered the gesture as an expression of desire and readiness to collaborate with it to deliver on its mandate.
Dr Mabatah is the Founder of Mabatah Gabriel & Francesca (MGF) Foundation, a charity organisation that is touching communities and schools in Ika Federal Constituency with free medical outreach and distribution of exercise books as well as organising Quiz/Debate competition.
Through the Foundation, the Mabatahs donated the borehole and toilet facilities to the state – owned public secondary school in the community to enhance sanitation and hygiene within the school environment.
An ‘Appreciation Letter’ addressed to the couple by the Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Office of the Honourable Commissioner (Secondary Education) Asaba, it acknowledged the couple’s “act of generosity,” describing the donations as a demonstration of willingness to partner with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori – led state government to make life better for the citizens.
The Letter dated November 5, 2025 which was signed by Hon. (Mrs.) Rose Ezewu (Honourable Commissioner) also affirmed the commitment of Governor Oborevwori’s administration to placing high premium on education and improving its quality in Delta State.
While equally appreciating the Mabatahs for the generosity, the state government noted it looked forward to receiving more of such donations from them in future.
