A progressive political group going by the name Dapo Abiodun Disciples in Ijebu East Local Government has hailed the reappointment of the Secretary to the Ogun State Government, SSG, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, describing it as another consolidation of a square peg in a square hole to further impact on developmental strides in Ogun State.
In a congratulatory statement signed by the secretary of the group, Lizabeth Adetutu, it noted that “considering the fact that he is not new to the position having being in the same position during the first tenure of H.E Prince Dapo Abiodun, it is strongly beloved that the reappointed SSG will deliver on his mandate.”
“The reappointment of Mr. Tokunbo Talabi is the best that can happen to the State Government. The SSG is coming back again at a time when the government machinery needs to be re-invigorated, re-energised and rejuvenated as well as re-directed towards better performance and delivery of dividends of democracy”; the group said, adding that his return as the SSG at this juncture would add value to good governance, which has been the hallmark of the present administration.”
The group is particularly delighted that Mr Tokunbo Talabi is bringing back his wealth of experience as seasoned professional and a humane politician of high pedigree who has always placed service above personal and selfish interests.
