Ex – governor Gbenga Daniel and Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola have congratulated Princess Adesola Ayoola – Elegbeji of the All Progressives Congress(APC) on her victory in the Saturday, August 16, bye – election to represent the good people of Ikenne, Remo North and Sagamu Federal Constituency of Ogun State.
Daniel in his congratulatory message through a statement he personally signed, said Elegbeji’s triumph will further strengthen the unity of APC, even as he noted that it also reaffirmed the confidence of people in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He stated, “I warmly congratulate you on your well-deserved victory in the House of Representatives bye-election to represent the good people of Ikenne/Remo North/Sagamu Federal Constituency.
“Your triumph is not only a personal achievement but also a strong signpost of our collective efforts to further unite our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). It equally reaffirms the confidence our people continue to repose in the leadership of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Throughout the campaign, you exhibited uncommon courage and comportment as a peace-loving leader, demonstrating that politics can thrive even in a less acrimonious environment. I am truly impressed by your conduct and assure you of my full cooperation and support as you join us midterm in the National Assembly.

Similarly, the chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations and senator representing Ogun West, Senator Solomon Adeola congratulated Adesola Ayoola- Elegbeji on her outstanding victory in the bye- election.
Adeola, in a statement by Chief Kayode Odunaro, his Media Adviser, stated that the overwhelming victory of the APC candidate clearly demonstrated that the constituents of the Ikenne, Remo North and Sagamu Federal Constituency endorsed the good work started by her late predecessor.
“ I congratulate the leader of our party in Ogun State, APC, Prince Dapo Abiodun and the executive of the party for the clear victory at the bye election with Hon Ayoola Elegbeji as winner. The victory is an endorsement of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the good work of Prince Abiodun in piloting the affairs of the state,” he stated.
Senator Adeola who is the chairman of Ogun State National Assembly Caucus said he look forward to welcoming Hon Ayoola-Elegbeji to the National Assembly adding that he will ensure that the member- elect enjoy maximum cooperation to continue effective representation of the constituency in National Assembly.
