While the cold remains of the popular nollywood actor Okafor, popularly called Mr Ibu, are still in the morgue, it appears the battle for his property has started.
Mr Ibu, the comic actor, died on Saturday, less than 24 hours after the nation’s entertainment industry also lost one of its own, Sisi Quadri, on Friday.
As fans and operators in the Nollywood world grapple with the deaths of Ibu and Sisi Quadri, Ibu’s adopted daughter is said to have hijacked the Ticktock page of the late actor and has started directing the public to relate with her through the platform.
Jasmine Okafor is being accused of changing her step-father’s 1.1 million TikTok followers to her name.
Allegations to that effect surfaced hours after the sad news Ibu’s death went viral.
Reports also revealed that Jasmine deleted all videos of the actor from the popular video platform.
Before his death, Ibu had been contending with marital challenges. From first wife to the second, it was not rosy for him and while he was battling all these, he suffered diabetes with the attendant blood clotting, dead blood vessels in leg and subsequent death on Saturday, March 2.
