No fewer than 20 people, including two Mobile Police (Mopol) officers and two Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) members, were kìlled in a series of coordinated night attacks in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State by bandits on Thursday.
The attacks targeted six communities – Sheme, Unguwar Baki, Unguwar Na Mande, Raudama, Mai Daura, and Bakin Gulbi also left houses looted by the rampaging scoundrels.

The incident was shared in a post by security analyst Bakatsine on his official X handle on Friday.
“Yesterday night, bandits coordinated six attacks on Faskari LG. They killed at least 20 people including two Mopol and two CWC and looted houses during the attacks.
“The affected communities are: Sheme, Unguwar Baki, Unguwar Na Mande, Raudama, Mai Daura and Bakin Gulbi,” Bakatsine added.
As of the time of this report, authorities in Katsina State have not issued any official statement on the horrific incident.
