•The Quartet of Neville Atigan, Kenneth Nkenchor, Barr. Nkadi Otah, Pastor Andy Evbuomwan on Wednesday.
Great Patricians – under the aegis of St. Patrick’s College Asaba Old Students Association(H.S.C. Class of ’86-88′) – have met in Maryland, Lagos Nigeria, for their maiden reunion in the Centre of Excellence.
The meeting which had in attendance: Mr Neville Atigan, Mr. Kenneth Nkenchor, Barr. Nkadi Otah and Pastor Andy O.Evbuomwan, deliberated on common issues, including the need to get an office for the inchoate Lagos chapter of the Association with Pastor.Evbuomwan and Mike serving as interim Coordinator/Chairman and Treasurer/Financial Secretary respectively.
The attendees also mulled the meeting frequency, which they agreed could either be biannually or quarterly but the possibility of it being held monthly was ruled out.
On members record, it was agreed that a provision be made for next of kin’s contact, who should be members’ children or wives to lessen the challenges of hitches while trying to reach a member.
The great Patricians unanimously applauded hotelier Eustace Eluronma, popularly called Man Pizzaro, for his total commitment to the entire project of the association and urged him to remain unwavering.
The meeting equally recognised and commended the great Patricians at home and in diaspora, who have contributed financially towards the take-off, CAC registration of the parent body and the maiden Wednesday, June 12, meeting in Maryland of the emerging Lagos chapter.
While commending those in attendance for making the Reunion a huge success despite short notice, especially Neville Atigan, for the logistics support, they appealed to Chief Henry Ebireri, Mr. Anthony Ogor, Mr. Lewis and Mr. Ernest Nwokolo, who could not attend the Reunion to endeavour to grace the next gathering of the H.S.C. Class of ’86 – 88′ of the Great Patricians in Lagos State.
