The mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, Francis Ngannou, has paid a courtesy visit to former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
Ngannou, a Cameroonian, arrived in Nigeria a few days ago after spending the festive period in his native African country.
The visit to the Nigerian elder statesman came after he was spotted hanging out with popular Nigerian musician, Burna Boy and Kamaru Usman, a former UFC welterweight champion in Lagos over the weekend
Obasanjo received Nganonou in his office within the sprawling Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Sunday.
Nganonou disclosed this on Monday in an Instagram post, saying he visited the former president.
“It was an honour meeting the legendary former Nigerian president, H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday at his home office in Abeokuta. It was great receiving some words of wisdom from the legend,” the post reads.
