Gunmen have abducted the Managing Director of Fouani Company, owners of LG and Hisense and took him to a yet – to – be – established location.
The abductors also kidnapped three Lebanese along with the Fouani’s Managing Director.
The victims were said to have been kidnapped on Friday around Falomo Bridge while traveling from Apapa to Victoria Island by boat.
The abductors were said to have also reached out to persons connected to the victims and demanding a ransom of $1.5 million, according to a source.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed the incident to some reporters but remained silent on what the police were doing to address the situation.
“Yes, it is true. We got the report and we are looking into it. Please, I’m not obliged to state more than that.
“I’m not obliged to state the names, when, where and how it happened for now but we are looking into it,” he was quoted to have told a reporter.
