The Nigerian banker of Yoruba extraction and philanthropist who founded the First City Merchant Bank, died on Friday morning at 89 in London.
His First City Merchant Bank later became the FCMB group.
The Ijebu Prince was a long time member of the council of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
He will be sorely missed.
He is from Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
