Former governor of Ogun State, Senator Gbenga Daniel, has charged Nigerians to use the season of the Easter celebration to draw closer in love and unity so as to “build a stronger nation, a prosperous Ogun State and a happier Ogun East Senatorial District together.”
Daniel said that Easter season reminds the world of God’s love as epitomized in the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross to bring a message of hope and salvation, urging Nigerians, especially Christians to reflect on the enduring lesson of love, sacrifice, and renewal which the death and resurrection of Christ represent.
The Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District in the 10th Senate, in his Easter message, also used the season to announce this year’s edition of the Choir Festival, an event that brings together voices of praise from different places.
According to him, the festival will hold on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the Abraham’s Tabernacle, GRA, Sagamu.
His Easter message reads:”The Easter season reminds us God’s abundant love which is represented in the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross as a message of hope and salvation.
This blessed season of Easter offers us another beautiful opportunity to reflect on the enduring message of love, sacrifice, and renewal. It is a time that reminds us all of the triumph of hope over despair, of light over darkness, and of unity over division.
As we celebrate, I urge us all as citizens to draw closer in unity and compassion just as Christ taught us by supporting one another and reaching out to those in need so that we can build a stronger nation, a prosperous Ogun State and a happier Ogun East Senatorial District together.
In that same spirit of the Easter celebration, I am pleased to announce the 2025 edition of the Choir Festival, an event that brings together voices of praise from different places. The festival will hold by the grace of God on Sunday, 6th July 2025, at the Abraham’s Tabernacle, GRA, Sagamu.
It promises to be a moment of divine inspiration, spiritual upliftment, and cultural celebration through music, as choirs from far and near glorify God in one accord.
