The escalating tension trailing the marital crisis between Senator Ned Nwoko and his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, has taken a worrisome dimension as Regina and her mother called out the Delta North Senator for allegedly using police to arrest Sweezy.
Sweezy is Regina Daniels’ brother and sibling, who was allegedly arrested on Monday at Ajah area of Lagos State.
Reacting to the arrest, actress Regina Daniels’ mother lashed out at her daughter’s estranged husband Ned Nwoko in a trending video, claiming the Senator used her daughter’s popularity in the Nollywood to revive his fading star.
Regina’s mother who accused Ned Nwoko of trying to bite the fingers that fed him, claimed her daughter also invested $50,000 in his 2023 Senatorial race.
“You wanted someone with a high star to boost your fallen star. If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you’ll go down. My daughter supported your senatorial election with $50k. We are covering you up and making you feel like an Odogwu…” – Actress Regina Daniel’s mother lashed out at Nwoko.
Also, Actress Regina Daniels called out her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, in a post where she accused him of using police officers to violently arrest her brother.
Regina didn’t hold back, threatening to expose the unpleasant side of him.
In her Instagram story, she wrote:
“Imagine the Nigerian police beating up my brother like a criminal. What exactly was the violent arrest for? Ned, you have power, connections and money right? Wild for you to think I have none.
“What I wouldn’t want to do to you is let the man I once saw as an iroko fall before everyone because you bloody know your little girl Gina is capable of that!”

She went on to express deep frustration about the state of things, especially concerning her children:
“I just hate this feeling of wishing my boys’ father’s name remains a legacy. You know why? Boys don’t grow to change their surnames.”
This comes just hours after Regina earlier cried out online, claiming that her siblings had been arrested and that she was being forced to return to “rehab.”
